As a designer, I try to draw inspiration from other passions I have in life. Woodworking, and music being a couple. Woodworking has taught me patience, precision, and lessons in letting the vision of your design ebb and flow with the challenges that you face along the way. I often listen to music all day, and have found that what I’m listening to plays a role in my design process. Some of my inspirations are Alex Colville, Sarah McEneany, and Jacob Lawrence. Design is something I’ve gotten into as I’ve grown older, and developing a taste for things like painting, architecture, and graphic design helped that.
