I’m someone who wants to make art that makes people feel some kinda way they wouldn’t usually feel. It seems to me like many people go their whole lives without introspecting. My art doesn’t have to be hugely life-altering or anything, but I think art which causes you to feel unexpected emotions can spark you into thinking more critically about your own worldview. Aside from that, I also try to have an art style that is clear, ordered, and enjoyable to look at. It’s easier to get emotionally attached to a work that you like and feel you understand, right? I like large, flat planes of color, and toying around with the interplay between these planes.
